Lawren Harris works up for auction

At the last Heffel Fine Art live auction in Vancouver in May, the Lawren Harris painting Pine Tree and Red House, Winter, sold for a record $2.85 million.

It set the tone for a record $22.8-million auction that almost doubled the previous Canadian record. Four paintings sold for over $1 million.

The Canadian art world took notice. In the next Heffel auction in Toronto Nov. 23, there will be 19 Lawren Harris works up for sale.
